The Herdwick Hogget Leg Boned and Rolled is a superb joint for entertaining as it will impress on flavour and texture, it is very easy to carve as the bone has been removed.
Herdwick sheep are Lakelands’ native sheep breed, they eat a natural diet of fell grasses and heather. ‘Hogget’ is sheep meat from an animal between 1-2 years old and is a delicious cross between tender lamb and full flavoured mutton. Our Herdwick hogget is dry aged for 7 days to enhance the texture and flavour.
