Heritage Meats is based at Yew Tree farm near Coniston in the Lake District, once owned by Beatrix Potter the iconic Farm also starred in the 'Miss Potter' Movie.
We specialise in naturally rearing traditional breeds of animals.
We think, our farming methods coupled with fanatical attention to detail over processing, means that our fine meat is the tastiest you can get!

We have a delicious range of hampers and gift vouchers, ideal for a Christmas present. Why not consider a juicy beef or lamb roast for an exciting festive alternative to turkey. This year we are selling Hawkshead outdoor reared geese, please ring for details.

We are proud to have just won the National Trust's prestigious 'Fine farm produce award 2009' for our Herdwick Hogget, along with Country Livings and Waitrose, "Food producer of the year" award 2008.
