Heritage Meats

Heritage Meats is based at Yew Tree farm near Coniston in the Lake District, once owned by Beatrix Potter.

We specialise in naturally rearing traditional breeds of animals. Herdwick lamb, hogget and mutton and belted galloway beef.
We think, our farming methods coupled with fanatical attention to detail over processing, means that our fine meat is the tastiest you can get!

We are proud to have won the National Trust's prestigious 'Fine farm produce award 2009' for our Herdwick Hogget and 2010 for our Belted galloway beef.(hogget is young mutton).
