Heritage Meats is based at Yew Tree farm near Coniston in the Lake District, once owned by Beatrix Potter the iconic Farm also starred in the 'Miss Potter' Movie.
We specialise in naturally rearing traditional breeds of animals.
We think, our farming methods coupled with fanatical attention to detail over processing, means that our fine meat is the tastiest you can get!

We are proud to have won the National Trust's prestigious 'Fine farm produce award 2009' for our Herdwick Hogget.(hogget is young mutton)

All our meat is extensively free range and certified by RSPCA freedom foods.
